The leadership and membership of SWAL are working so hard to raise money internally through membership contributions, SWAL souvenir’s and the sales from the book: THE IMPACT (Testimonies about Single WITH A LIFE) which is written by SWALians. This is to help the organization become financially independent. However, SWAL still needs your massive financial support to help run the vision more effectively and to be able to achieve our future goals.
1. SWAL needs Social media devices and equipment such as video cameras, laptops, projectors, musical instruments etc. which would aid in making our Social media live broadcasts and Effective Singles Conferences more enjoyable.
2. The CEO; Peace Amewowor has taken it upon herself to learn how to design this website, edit videos and posters to help cut down cost although, some members do help with designing event and promotional posters when needed. Your financial support will help us employ the skills of professionals to produce quality work on our social media content.
3. The leadership team currently does not get paid nor their travel expenses towards events catered for by SWAL. Your financial support will help us appreciate and provide our hardworking leaders who are mainly students with monthly salary, smart phones, internet bundle/data etc. to help perform their duties especially on the WhatsApp group.
4. We have tried charging entrance fees for our Effective Singles Conferences to help cater for expenses. However, this has impacted on attendance as most of our members and non-members could not afford the fees. Your financial support will help us subsidize future entrance fees or host our conferences and hangouts for free including providing free food, drinks and water on the day.
5. The CEO has financially supported all SWAL Conferences and activities for the past five (5) years including appreciating coordinators, invited speakers and entertainment performers with her personal money. Your financial support would help reduce the financial burden on her anytime we host our conferences.
We hope the reasons stated above will touch your heart to help us help our singles and young people out there as we seek to effectively run the SWAL vision.
